The Library
Mission:  The mission of the Texas Scottish Rite Library is to serve the Masonic Fraternity and the general public as a research center in the history of Freemasonry, American history and Texas history. With the acquisition of collections of books, papers, and Masonic objects, we continue the enhanced capability to better fulfill our mission.

Hours of Operation:  The library is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. It is closed on holidays and weekends. Group tours are available by appointment and our facilities are handicap accessible. Admission is free.
