The Museum
Mission:  The mission of the Texas Scottish Rite Museum is two-fold: to exhibit Masonic and historical artifacts and to enlighten the public on the subject of Freemasonry. The museum consists of three floors of exhibit area. The exhibits include tracing the beginnings of Freemasonry in Europe, its migration to North America and its entry into Texas. Also highlighted are many aspects of American, Texas and local history.

Hours of Operation:  The Museum is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. It is closed on holidays and weekends. Group tours are available by appointment. Our facilities are handicap accessible. Admission is free.
